Venerable Felix Rougier, our Founder, used to say that the name of our Congregation "is the whole program of our religious and priestly life." Indeed, we are called to be missionaries of God's love, of his mercy and compassion. Therefore, although our ministries are varied, in all of them, we seek:
To promote in those of us who form the Church (laity, religious and ordained ministers) the priesthood of Jesus, that is, a lifestyle marked by contemplation and mercy, closeness and solidarity.
To build the Church as a priestly People, a People called to communion with God and relationships with others of inclusion and fraternity in others' service.
To encourage others to live lives of holiness marked by a deep spiritual life, an integral human development, and a commitment to solidarity with others, especially with the poor and marginalized.
In all we do, our Congregation seeks to extend the reign of the Holy Spirit in a world so in need of justice, unity, and peace. We staff parishes, serve in retreat centers, work in seminaries, and with clergy as spiritual directors and retreat masters to carry out this mission.
“Carry out all these actions under the ‘loving gaze’ of the Divine Father,
in the spirit of Jesus Priest chosen (as a missionary), and moved by the Holy Spirit.”
